The Pier V Hotel in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is the site for our meeting this year. We have a rate of $199/night for a single or double room (plus room tax) and that rate is guaranteed only until September 28th, 2009. Book your room directly with the hotel by calling 866-583-4162 and tell the reservation desk that you are part of the group “Life Sciences Research Foundation” or by emailing your reservation information to: HarborMagicSales@harbormagic.com and referencing "Life Sciences Research Foundation" in your email. You are required to pay for your room charges. Check in time is 4:00 PM; check out time is 12:00 noon. Facilities are available for registered guests to store their luggage until check-in at 4:00pm or after the 12:00 noon departure time.

Travel:
Air: Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is our closest airport, about 30 minutes away from the meeting site.

Train: Amtrak service to Baltimore is available to Baltimore Penn Station, about 15 minutes from the meeting site. Taxi charges from Baltimore’s Penn Station to the Hotel are about $15.00.

Car: Automobile rental is available at BWI airport and driving directions to the Pier V Hotel are attached here. Valet parking is available at a cost of $33.00/day.

Taxi/Shuttle: There are two “Super Shuttle” locations within BWI. One is located at luggage pick up: Bag Belt #1 (pier A/B) at Southwest Airlines. The second is near Bag Belt 10 (pier C). The cost is approximately $20.00. Taxi charges from BWI to the Inn are approximately $55.00.
